Samsung Galaxy A5 Not Charging Problem My phone was approaching 20% so I plugged it in and left it for about an 1 1/2 hours. I came back and the screen says it was at 0% with the light at the top blinking red. I’ve tried all the options in the troubleshoot guide you already posted such as changing the charging cord and adapter, trying a safe boot. The device does respond plugging and unplugging the cord. It responds to holding the power button as it just flashes the charge more screen until I let go. It does not respond to the double tap, but the screen was function just prior and no physical damage occurred. When attempting to start the device in safe mode, the phone does not respond and acts like I am only holding the power button because the screen just keeps flashing. The most odd thing that happens is that on some of the times I plugged the cord in, the phone stayed black but pulsated a vibrate every second or so, this will stop if I unplug and plug back in the cord. It sounds like I have a combination of two different problems, reboot cycle that is common in phones or a stuck power button. If it was a stuck reboot cycle I would think that it could be started in safe mode, if it was a stuck power button it wouldn’t stop the pulsating vibrate. Hope I was decently clear, thank you Solution Because the battery does not have any charge right now the first thing you will need to do is to charge the phone by following the steps listed below. Clean the charging port of the phone making sure to remove any dirt or debris stuck in it. Charge the phone for at least 20 minutes using a wall charger. Try to move around the tip of the cord that connects to the charging port. If the phone charges when the cord is positioned a certain way then the charging port might be faulty. Once the phone has charged turn it on by pressing and holding both power and volume down buttons for at least 10 seconds. You should also check if the phone can start in recovery mode then do a factory reset from here. Take note that the reset will erase your phone data. In case the above steps fails to fix the problem then this is most likely a hardware related problem already in which case you will need to bring this to a service center and have it checked. Samsung Galaxy A5 No Command Error Problem After using all the soft resets including the factory reset, when the Android logo appeared, there will be ” there is no command” with a fainting Android logo, then the phone continue to stay on the “Samsung” word blinking fading in and out, with the blue led light also lighting. It stays on this phase for ever and could not start the phone. also, using “safe reboot ” or cache clearing processing all could not work too. Solution Since a factory reset does not fix the problem then you should consider flashing the phone with its updated stock firmware file using Odin. This allows you to fix the software if it is corrupted which usually caused this problem. You can get the firmware file of your device from the Sammobile website which will also have the instructions on how to flash your phone. In case the issue persists then this is most likely caused by a hardware component that is failing to work properly. The best thing that you can do right now is to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked. Samsung Galaxy A5 Not Turning On After Failed Software Update Problem Hi there My girlfriend friend has tried to upgrade the OS f it has appeared an message saying An Error has occurred while updating the device software. I downloaded the firmware from samsung website, but it took so long. I used Odin to flash firmware to the phone after Odin got stuck in a message saying get pit for the mapping. As I have this issue more than 24H my battery has finished now my mobile doesn’t turn on and it seems Is not charging neither. What can I do? Solution The first thing that you will want to do right now is to charge your phone by following the steps listed below. Clean the charging port of the phone using a can of compressed air. Charge the phone for at least 20 minutes using a wall charger. If the phone does not charge then try using a different charging cord and wall charger. You should also try charging the phone from a computer USB port. If the phone charges then I suggest that you turn it on in recovery mode then do a factory reset. Take note that this will erase your phone data. If the above steps fails to fix the problem then you will need to bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
